Institut Français de Recherche pour l'Exploitation de la Mer (IFREMER )
IFREMER (French Research Institute for Exploration of the Sea) is the largest French institution involved in marine research (1500 people) through research centers and stations in mainland and overseas. Through its research work and expert advice, IFREMER contributes to knowledge of the oceans and their resources, to monitoring of marine and coastal environments and to the sustainable development of marine activities.
The IFREMER Research Infrastructures open for Access in the AQUAEXCEL project are:
- IFREMER – MES (Marine Eco-tolerance section, Palavas): The IFREMER-MES research station is devoted to fish domestication, health and welfare. Please click here for more information.
