One of AQUAEXCEL3.0’s aims is to create a forum for engagement and exchange between researchers and potential industry beneficiaries of the research results generated from the project, by means of industry Brokerage Events. The next Event will take place at Aquaculture Europe 2023 in Vienna (Austria), on Wednesday 20 September, from 14:00 to 15:30 PM, in the Messe Wien Exhibition and Congress Center.
The Event is organised by EATiP and co-hosted by ERINN Innovation. Three potential high-impact outputs from the Transnational Access (TNA) program in the framework of the AQUAEXCEL3.0 project will be presented to an audience of both industry and academic members. The programme is as follows:
- Ramon Fontanillas – Skretting (Norway) will present the results from the TNA FeedRegius project, carried out at the HCMR-AQUALAB facilities in Greece. His study is based on an experimental assessment of the fish meal content requirements for Meagre (Agyrosomus regius) feeds
- Kiranpreet Kaur – Aker BioMarine (Norway) carried out her TNA KRILL research at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where she explored the benefit of krill meal inclusion on enhancing the growth of juvenile gilthead seabream by singiciantly reducing the feed conversion ratio (FCR).
- Claudia Figueiredo Silva– ZINPRO (Portugal) will present her TNA research, carried out at HCMR (Greece). Her study focused on using metal-amino acid complexes as a cost-effective strategy to help reduce fish meal in European seabass diets.
The Brokerage Event is open to anyone interested
AQUAEXCEL3.0 will continue to organise brokerage events for its potentially high-impact outputs during the lifetime of the project, with the aim of creating a forum for engagement and exchange between researchers and potential beneficiaries of the project’s outputs.
