The Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters, located at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (Czech Republic), is organizing the 22nd annual summer school. This important event will last for 4 weeks, from June 30 to July 26, 2024.

The main aim is to attract university students to research and development careers through work on real research projects.

As a student, how will you benefit from this summer school?

  • Different projects allow the possibility to carry out multidisciplinary work (university/company, biological/technical)

  • Different topics: wastewater microscopy monitoring, fish imaging, water pollutants, cell segmentation, fish identification 
  • Different techniques: deep learning, image processing, cell cultivation, bioinformatics, microscopy imaging
  • Free time: scootering, volleyball, barbeque, travelling
