Applicant Tutorial
This tutorial has been designed for anyone wishing to apply for Transnational Access to one or more of the AQUAEXCEL Aquaculture Research Infrastructures. This scheme enables researchers to conduct research at one or more of the forty research infrastructures in the AQUAEXCEL consortium for up to three months either through a physical visit, or in some cases, remote access. The available research facilities are provided free of charge and expenses are paid to cover travel and living expenses.

Reviewer Tutorial
Just as academic papers are peer reviewed prior to publication, AQUAEXCEL Transnational Access (TNA) proposals are also reviewed by independent scientific peers with relevant expertise. The objective here is to ensure proposed projects are based on robust science, use appropriate methods, are targeted at relevant research questions, and outcomes have potential to contribute positively to the development of aquaculture science and practice. Peer review can also help to improve experimental design prior to implementation.

Manager Tutorial
This tutorial has been designed for people responsible for managing or administering AQUAEXCEL Transnational Access to their organisation’s Research Infrastructure. It is assumed you are already broadly familiar with the project itself (see www.aquaexcel.eu), so the focus here is mainly on the use of the ARIA TNA Management System and some associated tasks.
