We’re thrilled to share that the AQUAEXCEL3.0 Brokerage Event at AQUA2024 was a great success! A big thank you to all the attendees who participated in the Innovation Forum on Wednesday, August 28th, especially those who joined our Brokerage Event.
Organized by EATIP and co-hosted with ERINN Innovation, the event showcased three promising research outputs from our Transnational Access (TNA) program.
- Georgina Lea Fazekas from the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences presented her findings on improving the welfare of farmed trout through sustainable environmental enrichment.
- Martin Kulma from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague shared his research on transforming food waste into nutrient-rich fish feed using Black Soldier Fly Larvae.
- Konstantinos Tzakris from Planktonic AS discussed the benefits of his research in CryoPlankton in seabass aquaculture.
The discussions were lively and insightful, generating valuable ideas for future collaborations and applications. We’re excited to see how these innovative research projects can contribute to a more sustainable and efficient aquaculture industry in the future!
Stay tuned to the AQUAEXCEL3.0 videos section, where we will soon upload the videos of the presentations.
