On behalf of the hosting society, the European Association of Fish Pathologists, and the local organisers at the University of Aberdeen, we look forward to welcoming you all to the 21st International Conference on Diseases of Fish and Shellfish (EAFP XXI), in Aberdeen, Scotland, on 11th-14th September 2023.
Following the online conference event in 2021, we are happy to announce a return to meeting in person. The conference site, Aberdeen, lies in the northeast of Scotland, where the river Dee and the river Don meet the North Sea. Fish farming is a vital industry to Scotland and we believe the site is attractive to participants from all over the world due to easy accessibility and efficient transport infrastructure, safety and cleanliness, and a wide selection of hotels and restaurants.
With an exciting variety of keynote speakers, 25 different session topics and 4 workshops, we are confident that the EAFP conference Aberdeen 2023 will have a high scientific impact and become a memorable experience to all participants from around the globe.
Dear colleagues, together, let us make the EAFP Aberdeen a scientific event to remember! We are both very much looking forward to seeing you in Scotland.
